ASPAC Developments Ltd. wanted a mural to give some visual interest to their underground parkade, as well as a way to demarcate their unique dog and car wash stations.
The design went through multiple iterations. The first draft was a colourful, retro, and whimsical style that could be described as pop-art meets mid-century modern. This design featured dogs of ASPAC employees:

The client’s feedback was that they were looking for a more geometric design that followed their established River Green colour palette. I began to create some ideas with their feedback in mind:

After seeing these ideas, they ultimately decided that what they wanted more than a comprehensive mural was clear signage for their dog and car wash stations, and a silhouette decal look. This was the final design:
