I am an interdisciplinary artist based in the Vancouver area with experience in theatre as a technician, a designer, a performer, and as a puppet maker and puppeteer. Outside of theatre, I am also interested in clothing design, textiles, furniture design, woodworking, visual art, and whatever other creative medium I can get my hands on. I graduated from the Stagecraft and Event Technology program at Douglas College in 2019, and graduated with a BFA in Theatre Production and Design at SFU’s School for the Contemporary Arts in 2023.
I presently work professionally primarily as a set and props designer, but also have design experience in costume and puppetry. My future goals are to be producing my own work as a designer/director/creator.
Currently, I am exploring subjects such as design led creation in performance, devised theatre, tactility within contemporary performance, the intersection between design and performance, interdisciplinarity, and non hierarchical collaboration. I am excited to continue exploring all types of artistic mediums and expressions.
